Review of the Captain Beyond CD titled Captain Beyond

by Clyde Lee Dennis

Captain Beyond is the latest Rock CD put out by the extremely group Captain Beyond and they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Captain Beyond fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Captain Beyond has a nicely varied, mix of 13 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly talented musicians. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They’re all here.

Listen and I think you’ll agree that the song choices are excellent, the production is outstanding and Captain Beyond is clearly a group that is in top form.

While the entire album is outstanding some of my favorites are track 8 - Thousand Days Of Yesterdays, track 10 - As The Moon Speaks, and track 13 - I Can’t Feel Nothin’

Roulette Software Systems Reviewed

by Roulette Software Review

These days it seems like there are a lot of Roulette Software systems popping up all over the Internet. On their websites, they all claim to be winners, and even show video proof. I have taken the time to review three of these systems and will conclude with which software is the best one. I tested each software with a starting bankroll of $200.

The first system I looked at was the Roulette Killer software. The videos on the website seemed convincing enough, so I gave it a shot. When I purchased the software, there were no instructions that came with it, so it was a little confusing at first. I then went ahead and started using the software, and when it told me to bet, I had no idea how much to put on the roulette table! Keep in mind this software is a multi-betting system. I then decided to play with one dollar chips, and for the life of me I couldn't make any money! In the end, I wound up losing my entire bankroll with this software.

The next system I tried was some new system called Roulette Raper (Terrible name by the way). I was really excited to try this because of all the other reviews out there that say it is good. I went over to the website, and there were so many pop-ups on it, it actually annoyed the crap out of me. I went ahead and bought it anyways. Another multi-betting system, but it tells you what to bet. The author claims that this system will make you money faster than the next system I'm going to tell you about, but it did the exact opposite. For a while I kept breaking even, but eventually lost my bankroll AGAIN!!

Finally, the last system I looked at was a program called Roulette Sniper. This system has obviously been around for a long time because it is all over the internet. At first glance, when I went to the Roulette Sniper website, I noticed a huge familiarity between it and the Raper product. Looking at the youtube video dates, it seems like the Raper product totally ripped off the Roulette Sniper website! Right away I had a good feeling about this because if someone is going to copy someone else?s product, then the original product must be good!

So I went ahead and purchased the Roulette Sniper roulette software. I noticed that the website owner set up a frequently asked questions area and provided a lot of product support. I then ran the program and it had SO many features, that I didn't really know what to do. I ran the program on it's default conservative settings, and did what it told me. I cleaned up. Every single bet it told me to do was correct, and I tripled my bankroll in 2 hours. That means I made almost $400.

I was quite happy, but I wasn't ready to call it successful just yet. I then tested it over the next two weeks, limiting my play time to 2 hours per day. I kept winning. Every day. I was so happy with this product, I wrote the website owner and thanked him.

So to conclude, I highly recommend Roulette Sniper over the other two, because it actually wins. The author knew exactly what he was doing when he made it, and that is why I wrote this review. To get the Roulette Sniper Software, visit this website in the Resource Box

Fujitsu LifeBook N6460 Laptop Features

by Corwin Brown

Fujitsu's new flagship desktop replacement laptop spoils graphics professionals with a stunning work environment and tons of storage. That's one big thing it has in common with its predecessor, the Life Book N6420, but the newer N6460 is also a better entertainment unit. Battery life is shorter--it ran out of juice in less than 1 hour in our recent tests--and it still leaves Bluetooth fans out in the cold. But all in all, the Fujitsu LifeBook N6460 is an improvement over the N6420.
The N6460 is bulky, measuring 2 inches thick and weighing almost 10 pounds when configured with a single hard drive. However, both creative professionals and discerning home users will appreciate its rich design. A 370-nit 17-inch screen is standard, even in the base $1499 configuration. The screen is twice as bright as most screens, with vivid colors and easy-to-see details, making entertainment more fun and close work more comfortable.

This machine doesn't make any attempt to insult your intelligence by being needlessly pretty or "personalized" (can something be personalized if it's mass produced? Perhaps that's what Apple's engraving deal is all about). As a result, it's big, it's grey, it's well built, it's non offensive, but neither is it inspiring.

A full sized keyboard and separated numpad lets you know you're in desktop replacement land, other than the obvious 17-inch 1,440 x 900 resolution glossy screen which rightfully dominates the view.

Ports dot the left, right and rear, but wisely there is nothing on the front. The air vent at the rear means no hands will be cooked while using external mouses.

The LifeBook N6460 features a sturdy, fairly large grey case. Its size is not surprising considering the amount of hardware inside of it. On the case's exterior are a ton of hook ups for every type of peripheral imaginable. It has five USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 1394, a memory card reader that accepts Memory Stick, SD, and XD, a PC Card slot, and an Express Card slot. The N6460 also features a Fire wire port, RCA audio in, composite, S-Video in and out, VGA and HDMI ports, that come in handy for a variety of video functions. It is also the first LifeBook to come with a Blu-ray disc drive. Blu-ray discs are capable of storing five times as much information as a regular DVD, so this feature is quite attractive.

The LifeBook N6460's screen is widescreen, sized at 17 inches with a resolution of 1440x900 pixels. The keyboard is full size with a separate numerical pad similar to those usually reserved for desktop keyboards. The N6460's keyboard also features a dedicated four way media button that can be customized to open any number of programs. Another fancy keyboard feature is the Visual Optimizer button. This allows the computer to switch from PC mode to video mode in order to provide the best visual settings for both regular PC applications and video use.

Fujitsu's LifeBook N6460 uses an Intel PM965 chipset along with a Core 2 Duo processor. It includes an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 video card that provides DirectX 10 compatibility. The LifeBook N6460 is available with up to 500 gigabytes worth of storage that is provided by two separate hard drives.

Annoyingly the speakers had a propensity to occasionally squeal due to hard drive activity when they weren't in use, and while there was a subwoofer on the bottom, it didn't seem to contribute largely to the overall sound. The speakers being placed at the front of the notebook was also a poor design decision, as the sound is muffled when you type.

The N6460 did well in the benchmarks though, busting out a respectable 3630 on 3DMark06, and an equally respectable 5170 in PCMark05.

For battery life things were a bit grim as they always are with desktop replacements, clocking in at a tiny 31 minutes and 36 seconds while playing back a DVD, all power saving options turned off and all settings pushed to maximum. While this is a particularly grueling test, it shows that you won't want to take this thing away from the wall for too long. The space in which you can insert a battery is limited as well, meaning the possibility of upgrading to a juicier battery has been effectively nixed.

This is also a notebook you don't want on your lap -- it gets far too hot far too quickly. Interestingly Fujitsu's unique heat pads usually included on the bottom also aren't present -- perhaps the intent was that it would never be on your lap.

How Does it Feel With an iPod Car Holder and FM Transmitter by Your Side

by Nicholson

Subscribe in a Reader

You have your iPod now what? Do you leave it there or do you go browsing through the many iPod accessories which are even whispering evilly in your ear, to take them home with you (paid for of course!). And even if you do give your little shoulder devil the time of day, which of the accessories do you spring for? The iPod case, or the iPod speakers, or maybe even the iPod car holder.

It’s all really a matter of cash availability and preference of course. For one thing if you’re verging on the broke after splurging on your new iPod, there’s very little in the way of buying that you can do, unless of course you go without food for about an entire week, or month or two!

This naturally will limit your iPod accessory buying capability to somewhat more manageable proportions – you hope. So what do you look at, what are the best accessories for you to have with you? It naturally enough depends to a large extent on your daily life habits, but if you find that you spend most of your time on the road going from one work destination to another, you will find that your iPod becomes your best friend.

To this end, you would really want to get an iPod car kit, but since these can be on the expensive side, you might think about buying an iPod FM transmitter instead. And along with that you might also want to look at getting an iPod car holder. These two accessories alone could be all that you need, at least until you can scrape the money to get the more expensive car kit!

With an iPod car holder and FM transmitter by your side as you spend lonely hour upon lonely hour in your car, you will find that time actually flies without your being aware of it. Since you will be spending so much time in your car with your iPod you will want to make sure that the iPod car holder you’re looking into buying is one that can be easily fixed and removed.

It should also be able to fit well together with an iPod that has an FM transmitter attached to it. So before you buy, try! This is one adage that is particularly apt here. If you buy your iPod car holder and FM transmitter separately without thinking twice about whether or not they will fit together you might find that either one, or the other is useless to you.

And when you finish spending on your new iPod car holder and FM transmitter, you might also want to consider investing in an iPod car charger. And hey, if you’re going that far, maybe also a case for your new iPod, or barring that, maybe a screen protector? And just think, this is only the beginning!

Movie Review - Vantage Point

by Adam Bassett

My wife and I started last nights date with a wonderful dinner at our favorite restaurant, we took in a movie, and finished the evening with a little shopping. A movie can make or break a great evening and in this particular case it was a nice addition to the evening.

Vantage Point starring Dennis Quaid, Matthew Fox, and Forest Whitaker was a refreshing new take on the often overused subject of a presidential assassination. The movie started out like most with an assassination of the U.S. President, and a couple of explosions by foreign terrorists. The view of the incident began through they eyes of a news crew lead by Sigourney Weaver. However, after the assassination scene rewound about five times, each time replaying the scene through the eyes of a different character, we and everyone else in the theater were threatening to leave. I must say though that once the movie continued through the eyes of main character Thomas Barnes - Dennis Quaid, and after the final rewind, we were left with a pleasing mix of several views that all blended and came together nicely to produce a clear picture of what had happened and how it happened. The only thing in question was why it happened which I guess we can live without.

Final assessment....If you go to see this movie remember to be patient, don't get frustrated or discouraged after what seems like a billion reviews of the same scene. It offers a lot of good action, chase scenes, and just a little suspense. Just remember that it all finally comes together nicely and you'll be glad you stayed for the end product.

Brodit Proclip - Convenience for Safer Driving

by Carol4Articles

Subscribe in a Reader

We've all been there. You're driving along in rush-hour and your cell phone starts ringing. It's ringing alright, but where the heck is it?! Oops! Now, because you were so busy trying to keep your eyes on the road while braking and accelerating along with the traffic, looking for your phone at the same time, you missed your exit. So now, on top of everything else, you're lost. You breathe a sigh of relief as you remember your GPS navigator. But wait a minute - that helpful little direction-finder was mounted to your dash a minute ago - so where is it? Then you realize it must've went flying loose while you were frantically searching for your phone and is now somewhere down on the floor under the passenger seat, or maybe even lodged into the back seat. Great. Now you've got to maneuver through the combat zone of that high-traffic, four-lane highway so you can pull over and get re-situated. Sound familiar?

Well, with so many different electronic devices being utilized in today's busy modern lifestyles, it's no wonder that we can't keep things as organized as we'd like, especially while driving. But the good news is, there is a line of very helpful products on the market that make life and driving so much easier - and safer.

A Solution Within Your Reach

Developed by Brodit AP in 1983, the Proclip line of dash-mounted, vehicle device holders offer a great assistance in the quest for organization and convenience while remaining safe on the roadways. These heavy-duty, heat-resistant plastic products come in a wide assortment, are reasonably priced and a clip right onto your dash in minutes.

Brodit Proclips are designed with the utmost convenience in mind. They are available not only for particular electronic device styles, but are also geared for specific car models as well. No matter what type of vehicle your drive - car, truck, van or RV - you can purchase Proclips for your:

- Cell Phone

- Smartphone

- iPod / MP3 Player

- PDA

- GPS Navigator

- Satellite Radio

- Two-Way Radio

Security Equals Dependability

One of the best features of the Brodit Proclip is that unlike the unreliable suction cup mounting designs of other hand-held device holders, Proclips snap securely into place - once mounted, they stay put! And there is no need for dismantling of the dash either. Installation couldn't be easier as they simply clip onto any panel sections of the dashboard for a tight fit and will not become loose unless manually removed.

An Assortment of Accessories

Didn't think it could get better? Well, there is also a full line of accessories available for even further convenience and organization that include adapters, chargers, extension plates and customized cases. Entirely accommodating, the Brodit Proclip Move Clip Kit provides for easy rearrangement of your electronics by allowing you to move two or more devices around with the use of only dashboard mount. You can also switch out your devices from one vehicle to another.

Other variations of these user-friendly holders are designed to fit devices equipped with belt clips and/or buttons as well. Adjustable console mounts are also available as are hands-free and swivel-styles. There are padded holders and even a travel mount kit that's perfect for use in rental vehicles.

Enjoy the drive with any of the Brodit Proclips, the too-common act of fumbling around, looking for your electronics while driving is completely eliminated.
All of your devices will now be conveniently secured, within arm's reach, right from your seat.
